Childrens Of War

Don't usually paint dark stuff like this but when this idea sprung up I thought it conveyed a really powerful feeling that I just couldn't pass on trying to paint. 
also got some inspiration from the song: Everybody wants to rule the world - Ella Yelich O'Connor.
the song goes really well to the piece so I recommend checking it out (it's in alot of trailers nowadays)
the pice kinda turned out the way I had in mind, I started off just in black and white and tried to get the smudgy, out of focus feel for everything but the two children.
